About
Meet Theresa
I’d been a freelance broadcast journalist for 25 years - mainly with BBC Radio Scotland - doing everything from news & travel to presenting the gardening programme. Then in 2020, like many others during lockdown I found myself with no job & quickly needed a Plan B. Because of social distancing, it had to be something I could do outdoors. With a diploma in horticulture under my belt, a Garden Consultation business was a no brainer. It quickly took off and typical of so many lifestyle businesses, Willow & Herb was ever evolving. Around this time, I started my own cutting patch, and the more I worked with flowers, the more I realised this was my true passion – and here I am! I love having fun, but training is something I take very seriously, and continue to invest in masterclasses with some of the best florists I know.
